About Our Certified Document Translations
About Our Apostille Services
If you are intending to use your Certified Document Translation within the United States, you do not need to have it Apostilled.
Apostille is used when the receiving country is a part of the Hague Convention of 1961. t certifies the authenticity of the signature, the capacity of the person signing the document, and the seal or stamp on it. It eliminates the need for further authentication by the destination country's embassy or consulate.
Legalization (or Consular Authentication) is used when the receiving country is not a part of the Hague convention.
Both are a multi-step process and can vary state-to-state and be very confusing to the general public- which is why our trained professionals can assist you with the process following the certification of your translation.
We can assist you with non-translated documents as well. However, for your translated documents we will assess documents you submit for translation, if they are best for Apostille or Legalization, and if they are going to a Hague or Non-Hauge country. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible for us to create a quoting form for Apostilles because each one is unique. We do, however, guarantee that our rates are extremely affordable for Apostille.
A large percent of our translations will be Apostilled at the Secretary of States office closes to the Notary who certifies your translation which will save you a great deal of money.
If your translation needs Apostille for a country that's a part of the Hague convention you may expect a quote for the following:
State Service Fees: This varies by State, however, our most popular State vendor cost $25 for a single visit with limits of 6 documents per visit.
State Per Document Filing Fees: This varies by State, however, our most popular State vendor cost $3 per document unless it's a US Territory which is $18 per document.
Runner Fee: Runner fees vary by State, however, our most popular State vendor cost $99 to deliver your documents to the SOS office and wait for them no matter how long it takes to be Apostilled the same or next day they are certified.
Shipping: We offer domestic and international shipping at no markup from UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
Management Fee: Overseeing the translation, certification, documents, runners, and shipping is a daunting task. We charge a one-time management fee of $75 on all orders to ensure they are Apostilled or Legalized correctly and get to you in a timely manner.
The Average Cost Apostille Cost with Us Starts at: $202 + Shipping Fees
Legalization works differently: Overseeing the legalization of a document going to a country that is not a part of the Hague Convention takes longer, involves additional steps, and multiple runners and shipments. Not to worry though! Our team will provide you a quote just what you see above guiding you through the process.
